Thank you for visiting the New Ark Chorale website. Established in 1977, the New Ark Chorale is one of the premiere choral music ensembles in the Delaware Valley area.

This concert depicts a traditional family gathering, with readings and music. "Santa Claus is Coming to Town"
starts one medley. "A Celebration of Christmas" by Karl Jenkins shares familiar carols in sparkling
new settings. Ken Darby's choral arrangement of "Twas the Night Before Christmas" and John Rutter's
arrangement of "The Twelve Days of Christmas" are included.
Catch the Spirit! (optional) – you’re invited to bring a new or gently used winter coat, any adult or child size to the Concert -- we'll donate it through the Salvation Army.
American Tapestry
Join New Ark Chorale for our popular, annual American Tapestry Concert, "Songs of Freedom and Hope" on Sunday May, 27 at 7:00 p.m. Songs in many styles will capture the universal desire for freedom and hope. This innovative concert program will be anchored by Howard Hanson's epic "Song of Democracy" and a thrilling medley from the musical "Les Mis." The audience always joins their voices in our patriotic and Memorial Day remembrance groups. Mark your calendars now and be sure to include us in your Memorial Day weekend plans.

Please join the Chorale for "All Creatures Great and Small". The concert promises to be a unique and entertaining choral experience as we partner with PAWS for People to help promote their mission to train and schedule therapy dogs in the Delaware Valley area.

Newark United Methodist Church is located at 69 E. Main St., in Newark, Delaware. From I-95, take exit 1B (Newark), to Rt. 896 North, which becomes S. College Ave. and goes into the center of the University of Delaware campus. After passing under the pedestrian overpass on S. College Ave., turn right onto Delaware Ave. The church parking lot is on the left, just beyond the City of Newark parking lot. The church's evening entrance is on the side of the building. The building is handicapped accessible and childcare also provided for concerts.
